The sonic bird repeller "Weitech WK-0025" is designed to protect your garden, cottage, yard or any other territory of 65 m2 against birds (pigeons, starlings, crows, sparrows, gulls, etc.) and animals (cats, dogs, hares, etc.). Repeller is portable and charges by built-in solar panel.

- Day and night modes of operation. When you select the night mode, the device stops using sounds during the night, leaving only light repelling.
- The device is triggered by signal of IR motion sensor. The sensor has a detection angle of 120° and is able to see birds from a distance of 6-8 m. As soon as bird or animal gets into the detection area, repelling signal is triggered.
- Volume adjustment. The device emits quite loud sounds (more than 95 dB), so it is possible to gradually reduce the volume if it bothers you or your neighbors.
- Solar panel for charging batteries. The product is powered by 4 AA batteries, which are included in the set. On the top of device there is a solar panel that recharges batteries during the daytime.
How does it work?
Most birds and animals are frightened by sharp loud sounds. Especially if these sounds are a specific danger to them. Therefore, hearing the screams of predatory birds, the close barking of a dog or sounds of gun shots, bird or animal tries to escape from a dangerous place as fast as possible. At night, bright flashes of infrared light irritate the visual birds’ system.
To start work, remove the upper part of device and insert batteries. Then edit the operation of device: select mode, set the type of alarm sounds and their volume. After that, put the upper part of product back, the repeller is ready to work. When a bird or animal appears in the detection area of motion sensor, the device will begin to emit frightening signals for 5 seconds. If bird has not left the repelling area, the signal will repeat.
Installation and usage tips
Repeller is installed by sticking sharp end in the ground in area where the birds are detected. Try to locate the device in area without obstacles (trees, bushes, cornices, etc.) within a few meters in front of motion sensor. Also try to minimize the impact of rain drops or snow on the product, because the repeller is not designed to work during heavy, prolonged rains.
Because of built-in solar panel, you do not have to worry about powering the device. If there is enough sunlight during the day, you do not need to recharge the batteries. In case of cloudy weather, we recommend using a 220V power adapter to recharge the batteries (purchased separately).
