Such mosquito killing machines as V-16 and Mosquito MV-01 use UV rays, carbon dioxide and heat to attract insects. Though these methods are effective, joint use of lures significantly increases the efficiency of a killing machine. SITITEK attractant imitates the smell of a warm-blooded animal or human and makes ALL mosquitoes fly right inside the trap.

How does it work?
SITITEK attractant constantly evaporates special essences that imitate the smell of substances produced by a human body: α-oxypropionic (2-hydroxypropane) acid, carbonic acid diamide, glycogen (polysaccharide). Organic acids and polysaccharides are produced in human’s body during movement, active work or sport activities. They have a very strong and attractive smell for mosquitoes which they follow to find food.
The tests proved that effectiveness of mosquito attraction was increased by 3-4 times and the protected area expanded by 2-3 times. Such a powerful effect is explained by the fact that mosquitoes sense the attractant from a much farther distance than UV rays and they remain interested in it when they approach the killing machine. Therefore, with the use of attractant, mosquito killing machines attract significantly more pests and they all end up in the trap.
Beneficial insects, such as butterflies, bees and moths do not sense the attractant and do not get trapped by the killing machine. It is intended for blood-sucking insects only.
