SITITEK Mosquito Cube is designed to eliminate all flying insects around you except wasps and bees. The combination of UV light and heat allows it to achieve maximum effectiveness. Additionally, the smell of the attractant lures mosquitoes, flies, midges, horseflies, moths and other annoying inside the device, where they quickly die from dehydration. The trap can be used both indoors and outdoors, with an impact area of up to 150 sq. m.

Methods of luring:

• Bright ultraviolet light. Because of the specially designed matte cover, the glow spreads in all directions, including upwards, which improves the luring of insects flying above 2 m.

• The device’s housing and the surrounding air are heated with the second light bulb included in the kit — 20W G4. When the device is used outdoors, it imitates the heat of a human body.

• Infrared heat radiation from lamps. The lamps produce the IR spectrum heat, which spreads through the top cover and attracts insects to the device.
• "SITITEK" attractant. This lure has proven itself well with various other insect traps. It spreads a particular smell that 'sends a message' to mosquitoes and other blood-sucking insects that their potential victim is nearby. As a result they try to get as close as possible to the trap.

When caught inside, insects fly around the UV lamp in chaotic circles until they dry out from dehydration. The process literally takes a few minutes. Small insects, such as mosquitoes and midges, practically evaporate, leaving only wings.

Why is the SITITEK Mosquito Cube insect killer so effective?

The secret lies in a combination of a thoughtful design and the special UV lamp’s heat.

We use the high-power 26W UV lamp, which operates in 395-415 Nm range. The bright ultraviolet light of this spectrum affects almost all types of flying insects. Additionally, the lamp can produce extra heat, which makes the insects dehydrate very rapidly. Unique feature!

The metal housing of the device also heats up extremely well, increasing the attractiveness of the insect trap and imitating the gathering of animals or people.

How to use

The effective area can vary from 10 to 150 sq m, depending on the location of the device and the number of insects in the air.

Installation in an apartment, house, office or on the balcony. When installed indoors, there is no need for the additional G4 light bulb. Cut off 4 small ledges on the attractant cartridge with a knife and place it on the top cover of the device. Plug the device into an electrical grid.

Outdoor installation. Make sure the device is installed closer to the area of insects' gathering, but so that there is at least 1.5 m between you and the device because it will gather a bunch of insects around it. Make sure that the side with the cable is facing you, so that you won't be in the way of the UV light that attracts mosquitoes. It is best to put an opened attractant cartridge to the bottom of the device, when using it outdoors. The device can withstand a light rain without additional protection. During a heavy side rain, turn off the device or move it under a shed.

It is best to install the device 50-100 cm above ground level. You can simply put the device on a table, chair or a shelf, while using it at home or on the balcony.
